REBECCA AND LUCIE GIFFORD
Hi and welcome! We're Rebecca and Lucie and we've been dedicated to dancing ever since we first discovered how much we loved it as children. We are sisters and set up Gifford Dance Academy in April 2015. We're also acrobatic gymnasts and have competed to National level many times, so it's no surprise that many of our routines involve gymnastics including lifts, tumbles and tricks. We love performing and encouraging others to dance and achieve and since forming GDA, we have been on the most exciting journey with our dancers including performances at Liverpool Echo Arena, Silverstone for the F1, Blackpool Opera House and filming with Britain's Got Talent. We have had the most amazing experiences performing at Disneyland Paris with our dancers in both 2019 and in 2023. Our competition teams have also been crowned NATIONAL CHAMPIONS on multiple occasions.
There's so much more to say, but most of all, we want everyone to enjoy our classes and progress!
It has been an honour for Rebecca to study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London where she attained a postgraduate diploma in Community Dance. BOTH of the sisters, have each attained a FIRST CLASS honours degree in Dance and Professional Practice.
You simply will not find a friendlier dance school with such a 'family' ethos and community feel. Come join us!

We hold dance classes during term time, in Stotfold, Fairfield Park, Arlesey and Henlow (on the border of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire). They cover a range of styles from Street and Disco to Acro-dance, Jazz, Contemporary, Commercial, Slow and Ballet. We also spend time on developing individual skills and improving strength, technique and flexibility as well as gymnastic/acrobatic movement. In addition to the 'base' classes, dancers can take specialised week day classes and we also have an award winning Competition Squad (see separate page) and a Professional Programme.
Classes are fresh, new and current and are open to children as young four, right through to experienced dancers wishing to pursue dance as a career.
